"A friend's baby brother was having a really, really hard time coming out and being gay. She asked if I had any suggestions, and I said, 'Yes! Absolutely!' I said, 'There a Pride Center on Waller and you need to take him or have him [go]. Or just call if he's afraid to show his face. Just call them and talk with them, and they'll help him, I know they will....' Later, she said he did and he's in a really good place now. It's a really, really good idea for young people just exploring who need answers. The Pride Center is wonderful, is amazing, is necessary in this community. The Pride Center will never know how many suicides they have avoided because of who they are. The Pride Center is absolutely necessary!"
